birthday offerings

this year i asked my friends if they wanted to give a gift, to give a book that has played a pivotal role in their life, which amassed a fun, varied list, including:

great list! thank you so much for sharing it. I believe this list will be my reading material for 2006!

I will need to read Amy Carmichael's book Mimosa since my niece, Mimosa Joy a/k/a "Mimo" is named after the woman in the book. :)
